Marielle's Name

Well just found out tonight that the LE in Marielles chinese name is not pronounced "lee" but more like LUH.

So back to the drawing board for a middle name
the options being considered are Cate, Leigh, or Ming-Le and find out the correct pronunciation later.

Will let you know what we decide.

WE HAVE OUR REFERRAL

This has been a great week. Throughout the week we received updates that referrals were coming and they thought we were included.

July 29,2005-We received the stork alert that referrals were here and we were included.

1000 AM: Carrie from GWCA called and gave us the info
Chinese Name: Shao Ming Le
DOB: 1/10/2005 only 6 1/2 months
Province: Hunan
SWI: Shaoyang

UPDATE

Rumor has it referrals are on their way. Spain received theirs through 1/27. We expect ours anyday now.

Update

Received two emails from GWCA this week. One we are officially in the matching room and the second saying that based on the number of referrals they are expecting that they THINK the cut off will be 1/26/2005. 67 families are getting referrals. With that date WE WILL GET OUR REFERRAL, probably next week. SO big news is coming.


McKenna is doing great at school.


I continue to recover slowly but feel better everyday.

UPDATE

We are doing well and have an update.

As far as referrals they came at the end of JUne and included up to 12/28. A third of our group have their referrals and the babies are very cute. They will most likely travel in August. With our date it looks like August and I hope that is when it will be.

McKenna is back in school and is likeing it, they have a graduation of sorts tomorrow. It is because TRACK 5 is leaving for the summer.

Jason is doing well.

I have had some health problems but am turning the corner. It has been a long stressful month. It seems like there is no end in site but I know there is. The bad thing is I am using up all my FMLA leave. I hate it, hate it, hate it. As it is I will have to take 30 day personal leave to go to China. It is hard I just wish we would be blessed with Jason being offered a job which would allow me to not have to work. But that is just a dream.

The CCAA director is coming to GW at the end of July. I will update when we have a places email. We still have not received any word about being in the matching room, so I am sure we are in the review room still.
