Referrals Came

Referrals came for families through November 19th. Our agency Great Wall of CHina had 109 referral families, that is ALOT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In that grouping there was one set of twins and two boys and the rest were girls. We are getting closer. The first third of our YAHOO group are next to get their referrals. So the next group of referrals will probably come at the end of June. It would be great if all of December were included but who knows. Soon we will be in the matching room and by whatever process they use we will be matched with a baby.

Will update again when we receive any word from the agency.

McKenna's Play EIEI-OOPS

McKenna did great in her play tonight. She was a sheep and did awesome with her part. She spoke so clearly and looked so cute. We are attempting to upload the pictures we took today so you can all see.

Updates

McKenna's tee ball season is over boy did those 20 weeks go fast. She is a great little player. They had a team party on Saturday and she received a trophy and medal. She is so proud she took it to show her teacher today at school.

She would like to take Tennis this summer. With school and my work schedule we just can't fit it swimming. We will look into private swimming lessons. I did not know she wanted to take tennis but she asked so we will sign her up for July and August.

Nothing new her with Jason and I.

Received the Stork Alert so referrals through part of November are on their way. Everytime referrals come it means we are getting one month closer to receiving ours.

We have decided on a name Marielle Cate-__________ Anderson. I guess it could change but for now that is what we have decided to call her. Jason picked the first name, I picked the middle name and we will use part of her Chinese name also.

The Great Blog of China

We are doing well. This past week our secret buddy sent the cutuest lady bug purse. I am keeping it for the baby. This week I want to get a new scrapbook to put the 100 WISHES IN and work on that. I found a new sewing machine I want to get.

No news on referrals my guess is they will be send the end of this week and people will start announcing next week. We are getting close.

I also want to start an exercise program I am looking into WW online and Oprahs Boot Camp. I just need to exercise I need to make it a priority.

McKenna has one more tee ball game left and a party. She is doing awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Referral Rumors

Well referral rumors abound. Looks like they will be here the week of the 24th and go until just before Thanksgiving. So if you do the math we will get referral in August.

Other than that no new news.

McKenna is doing great in school.

Angels TEE BALL

McKenna did great at her tee ball game. She had three great hits. SHe looks really good in her uniform. She really seems to like tee ball better than all the other sports she has tried. I have planned to getting her into swimming lessons for the summer but haven't yet. I will have to take her to Black Mountain and see if there are any classess left. She has her next summer track break soon. The month of June. Oh how I dislike year round school.

There are still no referral rumors for this month. It is hard this wait. Our little one is in China awaiting us. We still don't know our little ones face? When the birthday is. But soon we will have our new little one. Hopefully the bonding process will go smoothly.
A few short weeks and we will know who our little ones is. I still at times want a young referral and others it doesn't matter.

Update

Well nothing new here. The CCAA has been closed this week for the May holiday season. It opens up next week. So referrals will probably come to the end of of the month. Will probably include to the end of November but it really is just a guess. I did finally get all the secret buddy gifts bought. It has been fun doing the secret buddy gifts. Although my one is australia is going to know my name now. I had to sign the customs form. UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG. Our agency has a baby backpack which I am going to get it will make packing alot easier. Kind of expensive but worth it, I still will take one package of night time huggies though. The wait is going fast at times and slow at others.

McKenna is doing great in school and she does great at T-ball. She got out for the first time last night. Thats okay. She has fun.
She is a great ball player. I have alot of fun watching her.

Testimony

McKenna got up by herself and bore her testimony in church today. She did a great job and we are very proud of her and doing something that scares most adults.
